- Iām finding the game really boring. I know deep down that this is just long term project fatigue, but itās also a result of boredom with the medium of games. This is good realization. It means I want to make the game more radical in its approach to evoking a feeling. There was too much surface level beauty. Too much grounding in reality. Too much direct influence and inspiration. I want no one to play this except me. I want more of my dislike for this medium to pour out onto every boring surface that is visable.

- I solved the design issue of finding items as the main loop. Itāll be a timed chapter. It ends whether you find the items or not. And the items wonāt even be signalled that there are more to find. How a chapter ends will depend on what you decide to interact with in those X amount of minutes before the end reveals itself to you. And maybe itās an intelligent system that extends the time or shortens it depending on what you do. Dynamic pacing.
- Perhaps the best way to experience the game is to watch me play it. Or watch someone else play it. Only in-person though.

- Taking a sound art course called āWeaving Sounds and Storiesā. Explores ambient composition as a practice of listening, storytelling, and sonic worldbuilding. I think about sound and music a lot with TORI. This is the third sound art course Iāve taken and each one provides me with new vocabulary in relation to sound. Iām not much of a composer of music, but I do curate sounds heavily. Best part of these courses for me is 1. I paid money so I feel obliged to show up and be attentive for 2 hours a week + homework. And 2. The course instructor and students in the course have vast backgrounds in experimental music. They provide incredible reccomendations on readings, music, and ideas. I am very much the least knowledgeable person in the room, and it feels great.
