Talk: Creating Atmospheric Game Experiences
Exhibited: TORI
Super FESTival brings together years of Hand Eye Society events into one annual hybrid celebration of independent games, digital art, and creative technology. Hosted online and in Toronto, the festival brings together game developers, artists, and players from around the world for a week of talks, workshops, and experimental showcases.
In this years edition of the festival, I gave a 30 minute talk defining and exploring atmosphere in the context of games. My game TORI was also being exhibited during the festival, and a short interview about it's development process was shared.
