An interactive musical performance mixing electronic, IDM, noise, and ambient drone into a 4 part set. Celestial Ascension is an audio + visual performance and experience where the visuals and sound both influence each other and the soundscape is randomly created from countless samples and field recordings. The main visuals are based off a quirky animal asset pack that gets transformed through musical manipulation and shader distortion.
I performed this live at Space Orbit Cafe and Gallery in Tokyo. Lots of improv was involved as I attempted to control the chaotic system.
